Areas
UTB focuses its creativity to develop technologies and solutions that convert municipal and industrial wastes to renewable water, energy and nutrients. The diagram on the left is a rollover. Please place your cursor on the desired box to learn more about that specific area or activity.
Wastewater Treatment
Wide ranges of purification processes are available in order to decrease pollution or eliminate the contaminating substances. Some of the processes we employ to separate the waste from water:
Please visit our technologies section for a more detailed overview of the processes we offer.
Biogas Plant
UTB utilizes a broad range of solutions that convert organic matter to biogas. We offer the following processes in this field:
- Fats/Oils/Grease Aerobic Liquification (Goal)
- Thermophilic/Mesophilic digestion (Methanator)
- Thermal/Enzymatic hydrolysis and Hygenization (Aerotherm)
- Biogas handling: desulfurization, upgrading plants
Please visit our technologies section for a more detailed overview of the processes we offer.
Nutrients Plant
A byproduct of sewage sludge, food/agro waste or OFMSW management facilities are the residual solids which can be used as soil amendments directly or after additional treatment (drying, composting etc.) and gain commercial value.
Wastewater
Water is a vital resource that may get contaminated during use and can result in communal wastewater, septic waste, trade effluent, agricultural runoff, landfill leachate, contaminated groundwater, etc.
Organic Solids
Waste or byproducts such as biomass or organic solids, are created in cities and by industries in large volumes. If left unchecked, these become a nuisance and massive liability for all those who come in contact with it. We focus on solutions for organic waste which is generated in municipalities or by food/agro industry.
