Scope of supply
Magyar Suzuki manufactures passenger cars at Esztergom. A new paint shop meant the existing wastewater treatment had to be extended, and UTB carried out the extension as a turnkey project: biological treatment of the effluent from the existing physico-chemical pre-treatment on a HYBRATOR™ moving-bed biofilm system, with dissolved air flotation for phase separation and sludge thickening, and a belt filter press to dewater the sludge. The effluent is discharged to the municipal sewer network.
