Agrosprint freezes and processes fruit and vegetables at Karcag. UTB built the plant for the factory's technological effluent as a greenfield investment discharging to surface water. It runs a mechanical stage, equalisation, a UASB anaerobic stage and two parallel CYCLATOR™ aerobic stages, with a full biogas system, flare, desulphurisation, drying, blower and gas boilers, plus sludge thickening and mechanical dewatering. A calamity and effluent storage pool and a utility building were built alongside.
