Scope of supply
The plant treats the wastewater of Dévaványa and was subsidised by the European Union, built on the site of the existing works. Delivered turnkey, it runs a mechanical stage, septic waste reception, two parallel CYCLATOR™ biological stages with nutrient removal, post-filtration, disinfection, and gravity thickening with mechanical dewatering of the excess sludge. Five of the six existing sludge drying beds were renovated and the sixth converted into a sewer sludge receiving station.
