Scope of supply
The plant treats wastewater from Harta and its surrounding municipalities and was subsidised by the European Union. Although built on the old plant's site it was effectively a greenfield investment, delivered turnkey: mechanical stage, two parallel CYCLATOR™ biological stages with nutrient removal, disinfection, gravity thickening, and mechanical dewatering and composting of the excess sludge. It also receives 50 m³/day of septic waste.
